While looking at these prices, please
bear in mind that these costs are real server expenses. The money from the
cooperative is split between the rackspace and bandwidth costs.
The setup and monthly costs are dependant on the number of active members on each server at any time. Examples: Initially, each member pays towards the purchase of the server hardware. Standard Cooperative Server with 10 members. The final server specification is set by the members of the cooperative. We aim to put people of similar interests together. Any server specifications that differ from our standard specification are decided on democratically by the group. Each member pays a one-off hardware fee of £100.00 Each month thereafter each member pays £25.00 towards the running costs of the server. However on our current server the members choose to run with 9 members, each paying £30 per month, with the surplus going to one side for a rainy day.
