Welcome to Project Crosswired. Project Crosswired was founded by Jonathan Spooner and Barry O'Neill as a server sharing cooperative. The cooperative has grown at an impressive rate since its launch. Our goals include buying power - i.e the more members and servers we have, the better the deal on our rack and bandwidth costs. Project Crosswired is now becoming a resource for anyone thinking of setting up their own cooperative. Drawing on our experience of running the cooperative servers, we're producing resources that we hope will shed a little light on the topic and help others avoid the potholes we have encountered.
